Common Questions
The most common questions from engineering leaders and CTOs before starting a partnership with Valoris Fusion.
Submit a project inquiry via our Contact page. We respond within 4 business hours with a brief to confirm we understand your needs. We then schedule a free 30-minute discovery call to scope the engagement and provide a proposal within 5–7 business days.
Yes. For well-defined scope, we offer fixed-price contracts with milestone-based payment schedules. For evolving scope, we recommend time & materials or a dedicated team model. We'll recommend the right model during the discovery phase.
There's no fixed minimum — engagements are scoped to your needs, from focused advisory work to multi-year platform builds. During discovery, we recommend the engagement model (fixed-price, time & materials, or dedicated team) that fits your budget and goals.
MVPs typically take 3–5 months. Full enterprise platforms range from 6–18 months. During discovery, we produce a detailed roadmap with milestone dates so you have full visibility from day one.
All engagements use dedicated team members. Our engineers are assigned to your project for its duration, not juggling multiple clients simultaneously. You'll know your team by name from day one.
Absolutely — that's one of our core commitments. You'll have direct Slack access to your engineering team. No account managers filtering communication. You can see blockers, ask technical questions, and collaborate in real-time.
Our engineering team works from our office in Surat, India (IST), serving clients across India, the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and the UAE. We structure our hours to give you meaningful daily overlap with your timezone — typically 4-6 hours.
You own 100% of the intellectual property. This includes all source code, documentation, databases, and assets produced during the engagement. IP assignment is written into every contract from day one — no exceptions.
Yes. We sign NDAs before any technical discussions begin. We use a mutual NDA to protect both parties. We can provide a standard mutual NDA, and we're equally happy to review and sign yours alongside the contract.
We use master service agreements (MSA) with statements of work (SOW) for each engagement. The MSA covers IP, confidentiality, and general terms. Each SOW details scope, timeline, milestones, and pricing.
Yes. We work with your existing stack where possible. If starting from scratch, we'll recommend a stack based on your requirements, scalability needs, and your team's long-term maintainability. We won't lock you into proprietary technology.
Every sprint includes mandatory code reviews (minimum two reviewers), automated testing with 90%+ coverage targets, static analysis, and security scanning. We use SonarQube for code quality metrics and include these reports in every sprint review.
Security is embedded in our process — not an afterthought. We implement OWASP Top 10 protections, run automated SAST/DAST scans in CI/CD, conduct periodic penetration testing, and apply the principle of least privilege throughout. Compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2) are addressed architecturally from day one.
